According to the New Zealand Herald the six Kiwi’s that have IPL contract’s had many sleepless night’s wondering whether to sign on the dotted line for their country.
Daniel Vettori, Ross Taylor, Jesse Ryder, Jacob Oram, Brendan McCullum and Kyle Mills have all signed on to play for New Zealand over the next year, but Vettori revealed the guys had a tough time coming to a decision.
Why?
Well the first half of the IPL in 2010 is during the end of the series against Australia, with two tests against Aussie finishing the tour.
It was originally scheduled to be a three test series but because of the IPL that number was shrunk to two.
This could be where we are headed, instead of the IPL being played around international cricket, we may be playing internationals around the IPL.
